ETHAN MCGORY, MLA

I am a landscape designer with over 9 years of experience in the landscape and construction fields.  I focus on residential design that balances the desires and budget of the customer, and smart design and construction techniques that will create a project that will last for years to come.  I focus on natural materials and plants that are both resilient and beautiful.

 

After spending years working as a carpenter and landscaper, I decided to combine my love of plants and construction and pursure a career in landscape architecture. In 2012 I graduated with a Masters of Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University.  I owned my own landscape and contruction company before coming to Oakland Design Associates to work as a landscape designer.

 

In addition to my work as a designer, I hold a teaching position at the Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University where I teach courses on 

architecture, landscape design and construction.
